23/08/07   The Go Troppo Triathlon is on the 23rd of September. Anyone interested in helping out with this event please get in touch, email or call. The entry form is available here. We are thinking of holding a training race on the 2/9/07, which will lead into this race and the Airlie Beach Triathlon. If you want this race to happen you will need to send us an email so we can get some idea of numbers, otherwise we will just focus on running Go Troppo.

Congratulations to all who were part of the Capricorn Half Ironman in Yeppoon on August 19. A popular event as usual which saw the following local athletes compete. If we missed you, let us know.

14/05/07   Ayr Sugar Rush is on the 10th of June. Saunders Beach is on the 17th of June. The dates on the calendar show Ayr on the 20th of May and Saunders Beach on the 3rd of June.

12/04/07   Upcoming events include the Club training tri Sunday 15th April at Aplins Weir, all welcome. 

Julia Creek has it's Dirt 'n' Dust Triathlon on very soon. This is an event not to be missed. Get your nominations in and get out there, you won't regret it.   Check the Calendar for other race/event info.

There has been a date change for the Saunders Beach Triathlon from 03 June 2007 to 17 June 2007. Our Calendars have been changed to reflect this.

13/02/07   Sunday 18th February there is a bicycle time trial. Meet at 6.30am for a 7am start. For more info see Calendar and/or ring committee members.

24/01/07   2006 was a great year for Multisport in Townsville and the Townsville Triathlon Club was happy to be a part of it. We are  looking forward to catching up with all past, present and any future members and participants.

Welcome to the Townsville Triathlon Club.  The aim of our club is simple, give all athletes in the region that want to experience Triathlon and multi sport, the chance to have a go.  Secondary to this, we believe it is important to emphasize the 'fun factor'. We encourage interested athletes in our area to join 'come and have a go'. Please encourage your friends and family as well, and really get into Triathlon and multisport.
